Health Guarantee

Mockingbird Hill Kennel guarantees health on your puppy for a period of 10 days after delivery. If the puppy becomes sick during this period it is your responsibility to take it to your veterinarian immediately. It is also your responsibility to have your puppy checked by your veterinarian in those first 10 days. Failure to do so will make this contract null and void.  We will give you a complete list of all vaccinations & de-wormings that have been done while here at Mockingbird.

Please call us immediately if you have a problem.  Our veterinary is well versed in puppy problems and will be here to guide us if we have a problem.

Mockingbird Hill Kennel also guarantees your puppy to be free of genetic defects for a period of two years from the purchase date. We ask that you x-ray hips and check eyes on the large breed animals during that time.

It is our pledge to deliver you a happy, healthy puppy.

 


New Owner Promise

In purchasing this puppy signing of the Pet Promise is mandatory.

*  I will register my dog with AKC. 

* I will never overlook my responsibilities for this living being and recognize that my dog's welfare is totally dependent on me.

*  I will always provide fresh clean water and quality food for my dog.

*  I will socialize my dog via exposure to new people, places and other dog's.

*  I will take pride in my dog's appearance with regular grooming.

*  I will recognize the necessity of basic training by teaching my dog to reliably sit, stay and come when called.

*  I will pick-up and properly dispose of my dog's waste.

*  I will make sure my dog is regarded as an AKC canine Good Citizen by being aware of my responsibilities to my neighbors and to the community.

*  I will ensure that the proper amount of exercise and mental stimulation appropriate for my dog's age, breed and energy level is      provided.

*  I will ensure that my dog has some form of identification. (Microchip, collar tags or tatoo.)

*  I will adhere to local leash laws.
